Sikes' race was awesome. 15:14, and the 2nd-fastest women's collegiate 5k time ever.
Anyone catch the coverage on CBS? Much better than ABC's coverage of the Pre Classic the next day. Norm Ogilvie, Duke's head distance coach and the announcer, did a nice job. It's refreshing to have commentary on distance events that's actually more informative than Carol Lewis' standard "it's really hard to run fast by yourself."
Great Article! Thank You!
